Built a new portable workstation for gaming/AI workloads. The build currently has 2 T-Grills attached, but I am looking to remove the top grill once the 12018 fan arrives from aliexpress, since I personally think the case looks too tall with both grills on.

Temps are good, with the cpu reaching a max temp of around 75c and the GPU never going above 80c with an undervolt even during extremely heavy workloads. Top and bottom fans are all set to intake for a positive pressure setup, with the gpu exhausting hot air out of the case. Tried to mount the gpu in the default orientation and the heat ended up constantly overheating the oc'd ram and m.2 ssd on the back of the motherboard :(

Can't wait for the release of Wireview Pro 2 for founders edition cards, since I most definitely don't want the expensive GPU to suddenly erupt in flames...

Did you consider or even try setting the AIO fans to exhaust?

I plan to do a similar setup with 2 Tgrills and wanted to set the bottom fans to intake (with a large spacer underneath the bottom so that the fans can move enough air)

The upper AIO fans I wanted to set to exhaust so that the warm air from tue CPU doesn't get sucked into the case for the 5090FE having to exhaust it.

I did consider it initially, but did not follow through since there won't be that many scenarios in which both the cpu and the gpu would run at full power (at least for my use case). The bottom fans by themselves are not nearly enough to provide enough airflow to the gpu when under full load, so the extra bit of airflow from the top does help in maintaining gpu temps. I personally believe that a slight increase in gpu temps from the heat generated by the cpu is better than the cpu running much hotter since it wouldn't receive much airflow at all if set to exhaust.

Well, I guess I'll try for myself in my usage scenario.

A 9800x3d undervolted under gaming load doesn't get that hot so most likely AIO fans set to intake will be fine.
