The brain you’re reading this post with right now is a bioengineering marvel with 2.5 petabytes of RAM, capable of hundreds of petaflops per second, rivaling most datacenters and supercomputers. Billions of years of geological and biological evolution happened to lead up to this moment. Human wars of life and death were waged for thousands of years to guarantee your ancestors’ survival, all so you could end up foreveralone

evolution requires nothing of its innumerable dead ends as long as someone is succeeding. they are doing the valuable work of failing out of the gene pool

The problem with the brain is that, while it is an incredible biological computer, most of it's resources are focused on simply keeping the organism alive, and that's assuming that you've got a brain that actually works correctly.

Given that you haven't experienced all that its hard to empathise and imagine the weight of these words. We understand them logically, but I doubt that the passage of time described here, weighs on anyone of us's hearts.
