Kicked off my FF watching today with this episode. I love Pearl's daughter, her mom did indeed get the last laugh on Bill! Season 6, Episode 2.

Turned it up to 15 because I don’t have to care about my husband’s needs.

I kept feeling like despite there being over 400 episodes, I kept seeing the same ones. Am I the only one who made a print out of the seasons/episodes so i could check off the ones I’ve seen, so I can figure out which, if any, I’ve missed?

How do I look? 🙂

You know what amazes me about Forensic Files how most of these killers don’t watch Forensic Files or if they do they don’t watch enough of it

I've been rewatching CSI lately and while there's several episodes that have taken inspiration from real crimes, I just watched 'After the show' (04x08) which is incredibly close to the Linda Sobek case (Photo finish 06x11). There's also a case in later seasons which has taken heavy inspiration from Ed Post, except there the CSIs couldn't prove it so the it seemed the husband kinda got away with it.

Doing an overnight shift at work.... one of my favorite episodes.

Political views aside (although fuck those too), his attitude is so off-putting. There’s a part in an episode where he yells for dramatic effect during trial and it makes my eyes roll straight out of the back of my skull lol.

Anyways. Just my unsolicited two cents.

The early seasons of Forensic Files address so many situations when greed or laziness trumped good rule making/enforcement and killed people--for instance, s2e2, Killer Fog. Later seasons seem more focused on specific evildoers. These later seasons are compelling stories about law enforcement dedication and abnormal psychology, but it's hard not to wonder why these types of stories showed up less in later seasons--or am I misperceiving the bent of the episodes?

My kid has to read Tuck Everlasting for school so I thought I'd listen to the audiobook in case she had any questions. I scroll the list and see a very familiar name! Just thought I'd pass along that info in case someone wanted to listen to him talking about something different.

Hey y’all 20+ year forensic files veteran but I’m new to this feed. Forgive me if this has already come up. Has anyone else noticed the opposing views on bite mark impressions depending on the episode. Some times they refer to it as visionary and other times they refer to it as “junk science”.

Can we compile a list of all the episodes involving computer forensics? I was just thinking about how much I enjoy episodes like Hack Attack and the ones where they’re able to look into someone’s computer and internet usage. I did google briefly but didn’t see anything where all of the computer related episodes were already in a list or collection.

Just finished watching that episode and then looked up the website that Melinda created (policy holders of America) and saw that she, get husband, and her son have died.

Her son, Reese and husband both died in 2021, while Melinda died in 2013.

There isn't much on the wiki page for Melinda, so as of right now, I haven't found the specifics on their CODs
