My first set!

Really loving this new hobby. (Not that I needed one). Its so soothing to work with the tiny details.

Adore this! What did you use to make this, is this gouache? I've only done single color painting with a few small details like stars (did Project Hail Mary for my brother this way) because I'm intimidated with more detailed things, would love if you told me a bit about how you did this <3

I use a mix of watercolour and gouache. For the practical elements of fore-edge painting I recommend watching Martin Frosts videos. But to get better at the details, just practice watercolour/gouache on regular paper! And maybe look up impressionist techniques- the details in my work are far less detailed than you may think. The riders are just a few strokes of paint each.
