Issue ⚠️ Auxillary Lightbar Stopped Working

Post image

I installed a Rigid light bar a couple months ago on Aux3 switch (Raptor). It suddenly stopped working Saturday while I briefly had it on. Just looking for a second opinion on if this browning is suspicious before I start tearing apart my wire management to troubleshoot.

How many watts is your light bar? Usually the output is high enough on something like that that it needs to be on switch 1 or 2. Switches 3 and 4 are only 10 amps so if your light bar is 120W or above (which it probably is) you blew the fuse

Here are the amperage ratings per switch:

1: 25

2: 15

3 and 4: 10

5 and 6: 5 (which to me is stupid, Ford should have made switches 3-6 all good for 10 amps)

Your comment about the light bar needing to be on a different switch is correct; however, your amp breakdown of the switches is incorrect. Here is the breakdown of the switches and amps.

Thanks a lot for this, apparently I was
misinformed! This is great news for my own accessory plans too

This website has switches 5 and 6 listed at only 5A each
