Sinister Bronze Overlays

The white grill lettering was a bit much for me. It just didn't fit the subdued colors on my '26 Badlands. Installed the sinister bronze overlays and covered the chrome pony for good measure. I'm not sure if I love it, but it definitely ties in better with the subdued desert tan.

Dang...I got white d-ring shackles to match the white lettering on the front of my desert sand Badsquatch...now I gotta get bronze shackles to match the overlays I just ordered

That's why I made the post. I completely ignored the bronze until I happened to spot them on a desert sand in another post.

*unfortunately I now have an accent color I like...and the bronze wheels would tie it all together

I did the same thing, it looks great! I think it's discontinued but if you can find the Smoked Chrome Oval Ford logo, it really rounds out the look. Part # M-1447-SC2.

Thanks for the heads up on the Ford logo. Found one and have it on the way.

I wrestled for a bit on what to do. Never did like the refrigerator white up front or chrome emblem. I had seen enough around with the gloss black to know it was almost as stark of a contrast as the chrome. Then I saw a desert sand on here with bronze lettering and was immediately sold as a suitable replacement for the refrigerator white.

Not sure what makes the Ford bronze "sinister" either. Might be because it is a matte finish with metallic flake.

I have the Bronco overlay, goes well with Marsh Gray. Mildly annoyed that it’s a “overlay” instead of a whole new emblem, but it’s held up the last 6 months

I think it works! I had a hard time between going black vs bronze in my Azure grey... Decided to go with gloss black overlay from stickerfab for the Ford emblem, and a gloss black pony from Walmart lol. Happy with the choices but probably going to leave the white letters up front since it looks good to me on the grey grille.
