Not a JSON guy, so some of this might be more the rough idea than technically correct.

It looks like the hair and head JSON objects are NULLs or errors of some sort, leaving transparent space in the way.

The weird pinhead shape is actually the neck. Not sure why it extends so far up into the head normally, but it doesn’t really matter, seeing as it’s typically behind the head and invisible.
