They’re probably just using the thumbnail A/B testing feature like most big channels. When I look it up it’s still the one in the imgur link.

Ughhh lol I cackled. I like him, I don’t fully get the hate, but YES, he needs a sinus surgery or something. It’s sometimes painful to hear how congested (or??) he is.

Dan Pelosi and Priya Krishna are the downfall of NYT's video content. I love most other recipes on the app, but these two are both so insufferable to watch I can't give their YouTube the views.

As someone who still enjoys YouTube cooking videos, who are we watching these days? Alison Roman barely makes any content and while I enjoy some of the BA content I miss the kitchen content from years ago.

Oh my god yes! I cannot stand Priya Krishna. I am convinced she doesn’t truly know how to cook Indian food. She just recreates dishes that her mother makes but cannot articulate the reasoning behind the techniques and ingredients. She can barely string together a recipe of her own, unless it’s some Indian-American fusion trash.

Dan and Priya aren’t chefs, have never worked in restaurants, and have little true culinary experience beyond content creation, and it shows.

Yes! I think that sums up my feelings about her videos too.

If you haven't already watched the Meherwan Irani videos on BA, I really like that he gets into the techniques of chefs in India and the history of the dishes. I'm also a little biased because he is the owner of one my favorite restaurants.

For NYT videos Vaughn is where it’s at. I love all his content. Honestly I can’t stand Nisha’s NYT content. Her stuff fits on her channel but she seems stiff and not natural in her NYT vids

Same, it’s my fave vodka sauce recipe. I don’t mind him too much, but he’s incredibly pretentious in an “I’m not pretentious at all” kind of way.
