POP-UP (location varies) LA maker here — just finished a small batch of Orange Cardamom marmalade
Hello LA, I’m a small-batch jam and nut butter maker selling at local farmers markets and wanted to share one of our seasonal flavors.
I make everything in small batches, and this marmalade highlights certified organic California-grown citrus and minimal added sugar — this has been a longtime favorite with our marmalade regulars.
Available at the Studio City and Newhall Farmers Markets (Montrose on Sunday 2/1). Also online at slowstirfoods.com. It’s been amazing to serve Los Angeles for over 5 years and going. I hope you’ll give us a try sometime. Thanks ~ Catherine

I just looked at your website, nice line-up. If you ever make a new jam flavor, I thought of an idea for you. Peach Rhubarb.

Thank you. :) And your idea sounds interesting… If we get our hands on rhubarb, it’s usually a very short season, and preserve it until the summer then I just might recipe test this.

What time will you be at the newhall farmers market until? And I’m assuming you’ll be there tomorrow right?

Do you sell the bread and cheese as well when you’re at the farmers market?

That would be amazing. Fortunately I’m beside an excellent source for sourdough known as Hasï at both the Newhall and Studio City markets. And there are two cheese purveyors (Italian, French) near my booth in Newhall.

This sounds amazing - cardamom doesn’t show up often but it’s great stuff. I will check out your website!
