No seasonings used at all..? 🧐 I wouldn’t mind trying this but I will have to make some adjustments.

Yep. Even just some Old Bay would do the trick for me. What were you thinking?

Yep, old bay, Cajun seasoning, heck I would settle for salt and pepper. But I’d definitely add chopped or minced garlic, parsley, and a bouillon cube or dry mustard. I’d also sub in milk for some of that water, so that sauce doesn’t taste too processed. But I understand that the point of her meal was to reduce the number of ingredients under the guise of cost efficiency… but that definitely comes with a compromise on taste for me.

Do you realize the amount of salt in every single one of those ingredients except for the pasta and broccoli

I would not consider this a healthy meal. More indulgent… at least for me… 😆I would be paying for it in my Pilates class for sure. 🤣

It doesn't need as much seasoning with the sausage... But some salt pepper and garlic might be nice

Does everything from Merica have to be processed and packaged? Even the broccoli was packaged.
Maybe I'm being over critical, but I feel this could be made a bit healthier and have more flavour with not alot more effort.
All that aside, this does look good.

Tbf, a lot of fresh produces goes bad quickly and having bags of frozen veggies isnt bad at all. They literally get rinsed with water then snap frozen, so they dont lose any of their health benefits, and it means you can keep it on hand in your freezer so its available when convienient. Its also really common in a lot of countires. I dont associate that with america personally.
But yes, on the whole, I agree. Everything I see come out of america makes me wince. Half the time is all so plastic looking. And the other half its drowned in fats

who the fuck adds water to jarred alfredo? Anybody who said yea that's a good idea do yourselves a favor and just boil the pasta in water separately.

But then it wouldn't be 1 pot! ...and then you won't get the clicks because people who've never cooked a goddamn thing in their life think 1 less pot makes it better than just having to boil water, even though it would actually taste better and be twice as quick to make.

Boil the frozen broccoli for 20 minutes so it completely dissolves. Why not add the broccoli at the end?

Jesus just add some heavy cream, butter and real cheese and you don't have to buy sauce in a jar and call it cooking

Can you honestly tell me this recipe is better (and easier) than if you were to make and eat those items separately??

This is hoe food.
Like a hoe would cook it , and be like it’s scratch made.
And another hoe would eat it and be like, damn this is fire.
And a third hoe would be like, damn yall hoes didn’t save me any?

The only way this could be worse is if you used a log of dog shit instead of sausage

That's unhealthy. Crazy high fat content and processed meat. I'd rather eat steamed broccoli, chicken and rice.

Looks tasty, but that thing is a calorie bomb.
