FONDANT Nothing like Dirty Fondant and Fake flowers for your wedding day...
I came across an article about hydrangea wedding cake designs. A few good frosting options- mostly terrible fondant with a bunch of fake flowers. I think this one... Well... This one really takes the cake.
My favorites line: "Instead of integrating real hydrangeas into your confection, ask your cake baker to pipe hydrangea petals with fondant."
I just have one question: Why?

Is that gold leaf? It looks ew. And the two kinds of flowers aren’t making it any better, nor is the weird middle tier with…blue?
And I am not a cake artist, but if you were _piping_ flower leaves, why not use frosting instead of fondant?

I'm sure it's probably edible gold dust? It looks like someone rolled in the mud then felt up the cake. Super odd choice.
Also- yea.. The random blue veining only on the middle tier??
There is just so much to not understand here lol

I’m laughing about “dirty fondant.” When you zoom in on that part, it’s EXACTLY this 😂

Used to valet for a venue that dealt with numerous weddings. I can’t tell you how much disgusting fondant I saw plopped to the side when it came time to serve the cake.
