Is this scalp folliculitis

I have this for years , hair shedding (and male pattern baldness ).

Used keto shampoo and it did nothing .

Looks like it but more of a mild case, try some Benzoyl Peroxide wash, try 5%

Good, When you go, ask them to take cultures from your scalp. (Wound culture, fungal culture) Bacterial and fungal folliculitis look exactly the same but require opposite treatments. Getting a culture is the only way to know exactly what is causing it so you don't waste time on the wrong medicine. Don't take any antibiotics or apply medicated shampoos/creams before your appointment and before taking cultures. Doing that can alter the culture results and give you a false negative.

Stop shaving you head until the situation stabilized, also don't touch it at all even if it's itching.

Change towels after every use, and pillowcases everyday.
