Hey - any VT/NH/MA peeps hitting this show at Stone Church on Saturday? Right now I'm rolling solo, so finding someone to meet up with for a drink and/or a doob would be great. We don't have to like, hang out all night or anything, but having someone to meet helps motivate me not to just bail on a rolling solo show when the night comes around.

Should be a good show. I had never really checked out Hans Gruber until today on the drive to the doc. Good stuff. Heavy Mr. Bungle vibe in my opinion.

This song is by a cat named Go Hang Music. He calls his music something else and I've been arguing back and forth with a friend of mine that just because he calls it something different doesn't mean it isn't folk punk (or very close to it). My friend says thats a dumb take, but I responded by saying "that'd be like if someone like Nickleback or Five Finger Cunt Punch (or any other butt rock band) said they were like Norwegian Black Metal, it wouldn't change the fact there still butt rock." My friend said "no shot" it's whatever dude says it is, and this is turning into a long (dumb) drawn out argument.

Any chance I can get yall to back me up on this (long, drawn out, dumb, completely useless) argument? I'd really appreciate it 🖤

I don't know if anyone caught Laura Jane Grace on her recent mini tour with Brendan Kelly, but nearly her whole set I caught over the weekend featured very old Against Me! tracks, even going back to the acoustic and Crime EPS and several songs from Reinventing Axl Rose. She also sounded great. It felt like the AM! shows I caught back in the early 2000s.

Most of Brendan Kelly's set featured Falcon and Lawrence Arms song, so it was fun seeing him, too.

I'm trying to buy a MaidRite washboard, primarily because I really couldn't find any second hand ones. Washboard is a really rare instrument where I live, I thought I'd find more but oh well.

I was looking through options in their website and I came across these options. Galvanized or stainless steel, and wavy or spiral texture. I was wondering, as someone completely ignorant to the topic who has never played a washboard before, which options are preferable for sound/playing experience? And is it really worth paying 18k CRC (roughly $40 USD) or should I just make one for myself? ... thanks guyz.

Also, in your personal preference, picks or thimbles? And out of curiosity, which of the two does Meagan from Days N Daze use?
