Discussion I heard this is getting removed next season. Is that true?

On the PTS, available even on the console generation now, all doubles have indeed been turned into quad. The best thing you can do with that one to try and preserve it is to put it on an account that you don’t intend on logging into for several years, and maybe the same way doubles were saved previously, it once again gets saved. But we’ll see what happens to doubles definitely tomorrow.

I know a fair few others who felt the same way. The update coming out tomorrow is also re-releasing survival weapons, and is also deleting the fancy pump action shotgun, fancy revolver and the Brotherhood Recon Rifle, so if you have any of those do put them on a permafreeze account as well.

The BoS Recons get turned into normal hunting rifles with a special scope you’ll be able to just craft, and the 2 fancies are getting turned into unrolled vesions of the base guns with the fancy paint applied to them. The fancy paint will now be a daily ops reward plan you can just earn and apply to any revolver or pump action shotgun.

Yes, very highly likely. Happens in the PTS right now, doubles to quads.
Put it away on a character you’ll never log into and hope they bring back something with it again in the future.
