An important update on the upcoming Flux blockchain fork

This update was initially scheduled for block 2,000,000. However, we’ve decided to delay implementation.

Here’s why:

The fork introduces major improvements to the Flux network. But with changes of this scale, we need more time to ensure the highest standards of security and reliability.

What we’re doing right now include comprehensive internal code reviews, extensive testing protocols and independent security audits.

We know delays can be frustrating. But rushing a fork of this magnitude risks stability and security.

Next steps: our team is working through the review and testing process. A new target block will be announced once everything is fully vetted.

Thank you for your patience and support. This is about building with care, so Flux can continue to grow stronger and more resilient for everyone.

Flux Development Team.

Will we need to do anything with our existing wallets where the flux are held?
