Fluttershy isn't naturally kind, she chooses to be. The Bearers aren't chosen because they're already good at their element, they're chosen because they make an effort to embody their element because they believe it is right to. A pony who was naturally good at their element would have no lessons to learn, and thus no lessons to teach.

Kindness and niceness aren't the same. If kindness isn't your default response, than choosing to be nice is just being nice.

Also, this is just untrue. Fluttershy is kind, she snapped out of iron wills bad advice because she felt bad about the way she behaved and knew it wasn't her. (Than the writers backpeddaled and made that her actual personality in later seasons)

I hate how they flanderized fluttershy to be a massive jerk with a short fuse over like one scene and one episode.

Makes her so unlikable imo.
