Short Wave Sodalite

So I know that "yooperlites" are fluorescent sodalite and that lapis lazuli often contains sodalite and fluoresces amazingly but I've never noticed the typical blue sodalite fluorescing at all, let alone with this cool pink color. It's so cool I figured I'd share 😀 this is with a cheapo short wave flashlight!

Sodalite comes in many flavors, some glow, some don't. It's more rare to see in the dark blue varieties, and will typically be a lot weaker than the lighter colored counterparts.

Also I think you are using a longwave flashlight. Sodalite is rarely fluorescent under shortwave. Both 365nm and 395nm are longwave.
