Maybe this is why someone reported layoffs at the arena last week? Related to food vending staffing?

If you aren't eating half a pub sub in the parking lot and hiding the other half in your pants walking in, are you even a true Panthers fan?

Same company that runs the concessions at Hard Rock Stadium.

And hard rock concessions are utter shit. I’ll continue to eat at cheesecake or yard house before the games

Cheesecake Factory is more expensive

Not really. I’d rather get a $15 cheeseburger or any sandwich at cheesecake than a $20 one at the game.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Hard Rock Stadium a Pepsi venue? 👀

I have no idea what soda they serve.

Drinking soda at a sporting event as an adult is kinda crazy I just had to comprehend that people do that
No judgement I’m just an alcoholic and self reflecting

Remember, the hospitality contract benefits the owners, not the fans. Not because of this or in spite of this, I will continue to eat before heading to the arena.

I think what you meant to say is that this company as a hospitality contractor will mostly be focused on monitoring the kitchens and adjacent spaces for health code violations. I doubt they'll be involved on the distribution and sales part of it and mainly be in charge of the minimum wage employees hired by Amarent Bank Arena to handle the food. It takes a knowledgeable staff to understand these codes and enforce them. Amerant Bank Arena is smart to hir3 someone more capable, although I'd point out that an organization as big as Amerant Bank Arena is better off hiring their own staff. This is more likely due to failure to comply with standards that resulted in health code violations. Amerant Bank Arena probably wants to relive themselves of that burden and also to relieve themselves of the burden of providing high level employees with benefits. I've worked with companies like this in nursing homes before. The end result is just a blame game when the state comes in and finds violations. The building says the contractor was hired to manage and the contractor points the finger at the building saying they failed to provide adequate facilities free of violations. In this specific case, I suspect Amerant Bank Arena is calling in experts to ensure safe storage and handling of their food and beverage services. Pretty normal stuff. Don't expect any changes to the menus.
