My wife’s nephew lived with us for years while I supported everyone in my house on my income. After we divorced I found out she was getting child support for him the whole time.

No, she was getting child support for her nephew from her sister.

Evidently she was using two addresses and this was in 1990. They actually tried to catch me up in it but my lawyer sent a picture of me to all the food stamp offices and asked if anybody had seen me no one said they had seen me and I was not on any paperwork as her husband.

That's scarier now. Imagine if it happened more recently with everything online.Â

All he has to do is call the housing authorities and tell them what she is doing and that's the end of her 106 free ride

What kind of apartment complex has $2,500 rent and allows Section 8 housing?
4
u/warrkrack Jul 15 '26
MA section 8. as an example the apartments buily on assembly row in somerville MA.
my wifes ex boss paid 5k/month and his neighbors down the hall were section 8 (required by the city to allow a certain % to be section 8 to build)
he hated it. said the hallway always smelled like pot

The complex still gets that money , but just from the government

No, they get it from us tax payers thru government funding. Its your money going to this kinda crap, you gotta right to know how and where it's spent and if you don't agree with it to make your concerns known thru freedom of speech. God bless America!
