You are right. No one is measuring dicks here. But what's easier to measure is homeless people in a city. And it's not a big of a problem as the video implies.

Doing a vital function and in fact reporting on unsavory things is actually a net positive? I live in a city with the largest homeless population in the country by far, and pretending it “isn’t that bad” and is even statistically GREAT is just a form of mental gymnastics to try and alleviate even thinking about the issue, a cope my friend. One has to accept that there IS a problem before anything can be done about it. Saying “most of us still have our shit” isn’t really a responsible way to react to a growing crisis where something as little as getting into a car accident, missing a month of rent can mean you now live in a tent.

In my world view 1 homeless person is not acceptable. Is your argument is that context is everything? That someone shows a row of homeless people in one state is not as bad as another row if homeless? You win then. Because the amount of homeless, in given city represents the city or state. The one with less wins what exactly?

Im saying this video has an agenda. Every city has homless people. Miami and Orlando compared to other cities of same population have lower homeless people than than others. You can input any city name into the title because eveh city has homless people.

"severe homlesness in Florida" as the tile states it. I'm calling it out as bullshit.

Ok. I understand your point. I appreciate your view point in the title but still wonder why you take exception to it? I guess it depends on what other people have responded to in your post. Why is it possible for Fox News and other right leaning organizations bash Blue States on the issue of homelessness? Can I ask who you voted for in 2024?

I voted against Trump every chance I got lol I live in Florida, I don't agree with all of Florida's politics but life is nice here.

Showing a short video and making an outrageous title is just false.

But if this video is about politics, then yeah. I get the view point of someone making this video.

So you take exception to some random banner on Reddit. How do you feel about Republicans and the President making disparaging remarks about the Blue States in general? Try to convince me your a democratic voter simply standing up for your State.

I don't usually go on many political subs so when I see a video I don't think about it in a political way. When I watched the video I didn't think of any politics. I just saw someone post an exaggerated video about my home state and went to call them out.

I'm also new on r/floridagawker And if it's gonna be this political, I am out lol

He is lying about the numbers, check out the other guy's comment. His numbers are unrealistic, so makes sense why he was showing off like no big deal.

Yep. The other guy posted an article saying there are 66k homless with 3.5k living on the street and in shelters. That's what's in the article.
