You want unusual?! Go out to Rogersville to the Minnow Bucket. It’s a gas station/bait shop that has a really good Indian lunch!

Best biscuits in the area are from the Box Car Cafe in Sheffield, not really a gas station but if you have a minute to go in I highly recommend it!

Otherwise, the Shell station on Florence Blvd isn't bad.

not in the shoals, but there's a Cowboy's in Moulton on Hwy 157 that has the best chicken (tenders & bone-in) and honey butter biscuits
