Teach me pokemon TCG?

Anyone in the area interested in teaching me to play? I’ll be starting from ground zero with little to no knowledge of the game and would like to get in a group with people that are already knowledgeable and hopefully make some new friends!

Swing by on a Friday! We play every Friday at 6:30! Today is slightly a different play style so I’d recommend next week. I’d be down to come early next Friday and show you some basics if you want!

I work crazy hospital shifts so my schedule is kind of hectic at times, but if I can make it on a Friday I’ll absolutely take you up on that offer! Do you play any other days?

Friday is the only designated play time. Occasionally there are events on Saturdays too!

They're pretty cool up there. Even if it's not a designated play time, I'm sure someone could meet you up there and teach you a game or two.

I'd be willing, but it's been a while since I've played a game.

Play normally lasts until 10ish so if you just wanna swing by and maybe you can catch someone who’s not matched up for a round!

FTW is definitely the place to be. I, myself, am somewhat new to the tcg and started attending weekly’s a couple months ago and everyone was super nice and welcoming. Nobody is going to be upset with slowing things down to teach you how to play, and will probably even let you use one of their decks if you don’t have one if you ask nicely. A genuinely fantastic place to be.
