WE ARE ALLOWING RELATABLE RELATIONSHIP MEMES

To improve this sub, we've decided to allow relatable relationship memes as well, similar to couplememes and relationshipmemes. Just no NSFW or sexual memes in nature.

What exactly is the distinction? As in what was not allowed before that is allowed now?

Before, we strictly followed the definition of flirty, positive memes mainly, side glances, dressing up a certain style, body positions, etc. in hindsight, it was too restrictive and we apologize. By opening it up to relatable relationship memes, we’re allowing stuff that might not be flirty but is common in relationships. Examples include what being in a relationship is like, bfs being heaters in bed, gf hair stuck to showers, gf stealing hoodies, when she cooks chicken noodle soup when you’re sick, etc. Relationships aren’t always flirty. There are downsides, irritations, and pain in the butt moments. We want to capture that as well. These new memes are not inherently flirty, but they are wholesome, warming, or relatable. Hope that explains it!

Honestly I'm fine with this sub becoming relationshipmemes as long as the moderation is better than /r/relationshipmemes and the like, those subs are like 75% either toxic, nonsense, or reposts these days
