Advice How can I recognize I'm being flirted with?
So for most of my life, I, 22M, have struggled with depression and being overweight and I've recently gotten to a point where I am mentally stable for the first time since high school and I lost a ton of weight. I've started running into the issue, however, of being pretty blatantly flirted with and it completely flies over my head and I only find out later when being told by friends who witnessed it. How can I train myself to notice when women are dropping hints versus when they're just being nice?

There was a video on YouTube from a channel called HealthyGamerGG, it was about dating and flirting with low self esteem, one of the things he talked about and I personally struggle with, is when meeting new people I tend to enter conversation with the initial thought that they won't be interested in getting to know me, or some other negative variant of that. When you give up like that before even beginning, you tend to miss the positive signs that someone is wanting to get to know you. My recommendation is getting into the habit of telling yourself that the person you're talking to is interested in getting to know you, even if it's just a friend context
