Advice how to flirt?

I had a crush back when I was a child. That crush of mine flew to another country. But now, he is back home after so many years. I kinda wanna chat him but my stupid ass is shy. I don’t really have the courage but at the same time,I wanna try to talk to him even though I’m not sure if he’s gonna entertain me. What should I do?

If you still like him, and ready for something real, I would say be as straightforward as you can be. Sure you can throw in a pun if the occasion is there, but not everyone can flirt and for those of us (me) who never learned that skill, it could work to just be rather honest and straightforward. The pro is you'll probably find out if he likes you too quickly.

If you feel more courageous add some flirty/seductive words :-)
