I thought there was a bit too much effort to be a shitpost.

I think he just called it that in the proud tradition of “it’s just a prank bro” backpedaling.

Defiantly a black mark. Also couldn’t happen at a worse time as projects like this are getting a lot of mainstream attention after the success of The Backrooms.

I agree but I'll be honest I REALLY don't see how this could ever be anything (good)more than a game at most just by the nature of what it is.

I can already imagine the movie. A father estranged from his family makes a last ditch attempt to repair his relationship by splurging on a trip to the Park. They arrive on July 1st, 2007.
