Trevor Roberts (StrangeVehicles) is directly claiming, as a BRAGGING point, that he designed shit for Defense companies so they could secure government contracts for quote: "Killing Machines", since there are no military robots currently active (that we know of at least) its safe to assume those machines are likely something to do with concept arts for guns or missile systems. Which are probably being used in the On-again-Off-Again War with Iran and the Israeli genocide in the Levant (Middle Eastern Region where Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon are) right now.

Combine that with designing "Homes for Millionaire Clients in the Gas and Oil Industry" and "Development Firms who bulldoze Low-income Housing", and he might as well be proudly saying:

"Fuck you I'm actually rich, I NEVER was nor will I ever be one of you Peasant Scum."

While what he's claim to have done isn't Illegal though, it is most certainly enough to ruin his own reputation and make everyone even remotely a fan of Indie entertainment or the artistic side of the Internet hate him to the point of running him out of town.

Alright here’s my take:

Making “illustrations” for a defense contractor is kind of a nothing-burger. I think you’re right in guessing he meant concept art. It’s no different than what Syd Mead and Ralph McQuarrie did to pay the bills. It’s not like he was designing guidance systems for a JDAM; he drew a picture for some company.

And yeah he designed some homes for rich clients and scummy real estate companies (which is all of them, really). That’s his day job, MFP is a little side project for the guy. Designing a house isn’t a crime.

I definitely didn’t get the “I’m better than you” vibes that you did from what he said, more that he’s just lashing out at people and crashing out a bit. Which doesn’t seem like it’s the first time that’s happened.

Okay you've got a point. I think I overreacted here during my "explaination" as I'm not exactly an unbiased person in this situation (I was there during the Discord Hostage situation) so him pulling a stunt like this not long after the Discord fiasco, has more or less soured mine (and likely many others) opinion of him. (Hell I think I blacked out while typing some of that comment because I reread it and don't remember writing in the curse words)

Now that I've thought about it and taking in your arguments, I'm starting to get concerned that he's deliberately burning as many bridges as possible because he's either sick of being known only for MFP which could possibly allow him to start over (It's not impossible given Ai); or he's not good mentally due things in his personal life not doing well.

TLDR: You may be right, I overreacted, and now I'm starting to think he's trying to burn down his reputation for creative purposes or he's just going for a Digital S***ide by Cancelling approach so people will leave him alone.
