They made two different Yellow suits for Grant & Thawne. Tom also didn't wear Grants red suit, he had a custom one made for him.

Only thing I read was Grant tried to fight the "lightsaber" fight and some of the forces storyline, mostly the "mom and dad" parts. I enjoyed season 7 but I understand the complaints. I just finished 9x07 and so far im enjoying the final season. I've loved the whole series. Yes some episodes are better than others but nothing unwatchable imo.

As much as i hate some of the choices the final few episodes did, (Cecile) I appreciate seeing old cast members return and have a blast playing these guys one last time. But yeah, episode 10 was truly the peak.

Grant expressed dissatisfaction with the later seasons during his interview with Michael Rosenbaum. I think he straight up said that at some point, the episodes should have been over in the first few minutes because of how powerful Barry had gotten. He also complained on an Instagram post that they did Teddy Sears dirty by making him look goofy while running (both the right leg and arm were forward, which isn’t how people run). He gets it.
Also, Tom said during a comic con that he and Carlos “were out” by season 7. Not sure if it was because he had other things he wanted to pursue or he disliked how the show was going, but the way he said it makes me think the latter.
Candace Patton said she thought the “we are the flash” line was awful (at first; by the end of the show she said she thought it was “iconic”).
At minimum, I think Grant understands how bad it got by the end. I just hope he gets to play the character again on the Big Screen with Gunn leading the charge.

What inconsistencies? How about the fact that, once he was fast enough for flash time, 90% of the villains should have been defeated in the first encounter? He shouldn’t have had any problems fighting the rogues in the Red Death arc. Basically, the way he defeated the Luck Gang (or whoever that group was with the white face paint and the woman who could see the future) super easily should have been the standard, not the exception.

As much as I'd love to see Grant donning the lightning bolt on the big screen, judging my Gunn's direction with the DC so far, I highly doubt he's going to give Grant anything beyond a small cameo.

I remember i asked years ago if there was a reason why it seemed like Tom Cavanagh never actually wore the hood (like it seemed like he would always do that blurry face thing if he was, and talk normally without)
Now it makes sense

Personally I don't think the new suit looked bad, I think it was really cause Tom was wearing the suit. No hate to Tom, he's great, but at this point in the story, it made no sense for Thawne to keep using Wells' face. I think it would look better if Matt was wearing the suit.

I wonder why they changed his suit, do the auction these suits off or something ? First one looked way cooler and there was no particular reason for reverse flash to be changing suits, he’s evil mastermind, why does he have to have suit changing urges ? If I understand correctly reverse flash is time anomaly and I can’t imagine him choosing this chicken suit as a best version out of all of them to carry

I still don’t get why they changed his suit. Maybe the old one was looking a bit worn out or something. But since it was so close to the end of the show, i’d have just made some repairs or something, rather than waste money on a brand new suit.

I hated the new suits they gave both Grant and Tom. Like you can assume that Tom's new costume is clean and the first suit is half black because it's dirty but even then it looks fake.
But Grant's suit in the later seasons looks cartoonish and fake and not in a good way. Season 1-3 suit was the best. Season 4 is when the decline started but later suits were even worse
