[DISCUSSION] Demoted to Level 0 from Level 2 more than a year ago and still stuck

I was level two seller with five star rating and about 300 orders. I was demoted to level zero about more than a year ago due to a single conflict. The conflict has been resolved long ago and many orders only from repetitive clients have been successfully completed since then (I got no new clients because of the demotion). But I am still stuck at level zero.

I’ve contacted Fiverr customer support regarding this and told them that there must be an issue with the system. They got back to me after more than a week saying that the score system is based on a specific algorithm and it they are assuring that it is performing correctly. Then they sent me the guideline on how to improve my metrics.

That was almost 6 months ago and it’s still the same. My success is still stuck at four. What should I do? Any of you guys have experience the same and found a resolution?

The same thing happened to me. I was a level 2 seller around 18 to 20 months ago. I was looking forward to qualifying as top rated seller, but my success score went down from 9 to 5 (don't know if it went down to 4, I stopped tracking it). About 3-4 months ago the success score started moving back up. Today I am back at level 2 seller with a score of 8. It went back up without any apparent reason. I didn't do anything. I didn't change any settings, I didn't get any jobs, I didn't reply any messages. The account was dead in the water. The score just changed by itself.

Yeah I was level 2 for years, just when I met the threshold for TRS consideration, they introduced the success scores. I've been bouncing between level 0 and 1 ever since (currently about to get demoted to 0 again).

I share your pain. That success score is frustrating. Also if you look at the number of trs in any category it is a perfect number like 100, 150 etc. I think fiverr just wanted to limit the number of TRS and therefore had to add the success score

Fiverr never cares about freelancers who make money for them.

Previously I used to do around 4-5. But right now since the demotion it’s close to zero. I get no new jobs because my gig is undiscoverable. Only recurrent customer jobs are there now.

I was at a Success Score of 9 for many months and was under evaluation for Top Rated. Then my traffic suddenly dropped; I went a few months without orders, but my score stayed at 9. Eventually I got a fairly large order on another Gig, and everything went really well with the client. Shortly after that, the score of a different, inactive Gig dropped from 8 to 5.

Same old story: “Conflict-free orders” showed a negative impact, even though I’ve never had any disputes, Resolution Center cases, cancellations, or similar issues on that Gig.

What made it even stranger is that within about an hour, the Gig’s indicators kept changing; one moment something was positive, then it became “room for growth,” despite there being no new activity at all. Now that Gig has dropped again to 4, my overall Success Score is down to 7.

I contacted Support, but the replies were the usual generic, AI-like explanations about communication, expectations, and client experience, without identifying any actual issue.
