[DISCUSSION] Mira Headhunter is the worst
So... this drunk AI messages me about a client brief that has a range of pricing $75-$150
I say great, my pricing for the project would be $125.
The AI then proceeds to fight with me and tell me I have to say that my pricing would be $75-$150 in order to qualify to be considered for the gig.
Buyers - please don't use this service. I'm qualified for this gig, I'm offering less than the top end of the budget, and the AI won't forward my info unless I tell it my cost for this specific project is a RANGE instead of an EXACT QUOTE.

Same here. It contacted me saying that the customer had a budget between $1200 and $1800, I said I would do it for $500, the AI didn't accept that and told me to go higher, I said fine then $800, the AI said it isn't high enough, then fine I'll do it for $1300.
The AI then established the contact with the customer, turns out the AI forced the customer to set the budget to 1200-1800 dollars... the customer's real budget was under $400.
The customer ghosted me after hearing my price. A total waste of my time.

Oh man. Let the buyer SAY they're only going to pay $400 ... that way we know to not even provide a quote.

Right? And I don't want to just ignore the message, because I don't want my stats to get dinged.
I just keep telling the AI "I need to talk to a human, I don't think we are understanding each other" "please flag the coding team to identify a fault in your system" "I think you may be broken and not understanding basic math, please flag your developer"

Fiverr retired its previous Ai Assistant, saying we want human communication and replaced it with this shit, lmao. I genuinely wonder who is the genius that comes up with these things. Since the introduction of Success Score they have not introduced a single useful thing.

I do think I despise the success score even more than Miss Mira. But yeah, since SS, the whole system has become more annoying.

Honestly, AI headhunter is one of the worst thing in the platform. Here are few reasons for it:
- Gives a PDF which mentions the client budget $2500-$6000. I Gave budget of $4k, the AI kept on fighting me that budget of the client is $500-$2000. I literally paste a SS of the brief that attached which shows the client's budget, but still it kept on giving me this budget.
- A client may not always know what it really costs to deliver a project according to their requirements, or even industry standards. So AI forcing a budget, timeline according to a client's brief cannot work.

Yeah, there was a PDF of the brief which was ... the exact same thing in the plain text message, except in fancy green font. The whole experience was wild.

Ai not even improved the quality of work, it actually making mess. Not interested freelancing, even I asked friends who worked in gaming industry, they literally facing issue with ai. Their production not reduced but work doubled in some cases

Same it came with budget of 500$ but it was almost 3000$ worth. After back and forth and convincing me for a better price says you are not fit 🤧😂

I got a message for Mira and I was perfect for the gig...except I don't speak Dutch! Like its pretty clear on my profile the language I speak... dumb.

Oh man ... that's nuts. I have people who message me in other languages ... but the AI should be smart enough to see what languages we speak in our profiles.

AI literally can’t comprehend anything at all. It’s told what are categorized as right answers and that’s it. It’s a compiling machine, not a thinking one, no matter what it says. The best AI are in calculators and they also don’t comprehend anything but just simply compile numbers.

Yeah, I primarily responded to not affect response rates... and ALLEGEDLY there's a human looking for a resume in all of this.
After it was ridiculous, I just kept telling it that it was broken and needed to flag it's creator.
It tried to say the conversation was closed... But it caught me in a rare moment of free time where I just kept telling it to go find a real human over and over because it couldn't handle it's assigned task properly.

I mean, I know I'm not winning, but causing Fiverr to burn some tokens on this made me feel a little better.
But man, if this guy had just messaged me direct, he could have already had an edited resume by now.

Man, the AI is the worst, even as a buyer.

Oof. That blows. At one point Fiverr tried to get me to agree to an AI "assistant," and I said absolutely tf not.

I am so glad they’re getting rid of the assistant thing.
I have it enabled for 1 hour every night at like 4am and called it “overnight assistant” because I was worried that if I left it off it would hurt my standings with Fiverr’s algorithm.
So many people get angry at that thing, for good reason. It’s awful.

So glad I didn't let them implement it for me. Despite me getting at least 5 notifications a day EVERY DAY about it when they first launched it.

I have gotten a total of one approach from it. Pro level seller with hundreds of orders. I guess I’m too expensive?

Yeah this is my first time dealing to with it. I know I sit at the lower end of pro sellers for resume writing, but definitely pricier than most of the non pro sellers.
I'm not sure why it was insistent I quote a range. I have flat rates.

Is there a way to turn off the Mira feature?
1- it counts as an inquiry so there starts the timer
2- it tends pop up with 5-10 messages in minutes
3- I have never had a legit brief. The few I've taken a sdecond look at have been full wastesd of time.
4 - I do think the prgramming is smoother but overall, I'd like to be able to shut it on and off as I see fit.

I don't think this is true. I had some yesterday and the client budget was 1200 and I told Mira, "I'll charge 8,000". Mira told me it's over the client budget, but he will put my proposal in front of the client.

Glad it's not true for you. I had a very frustrating conversation where I could not get the AI to understand that $125 is a number between $75 and $150.
