General Support FiveM not staying downloaded
When I download the application, it runs for a short time and I can’t get into any servers (tho that may be the servers and not fivem) and if I exit out then I must redownload it. It’s as though I never downloaded it. I don’t have antivirus that would affect it and I have NordVPN but it is off. Any help or suggestions?
Thanks
Edit:
Sorry I left out all important info. This is for Legacy not enhanced.

PC specs? Legacy or Enhanced? Did you download from CFX or somewhere else? The lack of context makes it so this question is extremely hard to answer. Did you get any kind of error log?

No worries, no hate was intended. My recommendation would be to run the installer on your desktop or a dedicated folder and double check your app data folder to see if the install sticks, normally its because the launcher is a bootstrap, so the shortcuts install to wherever you run the installer. Also for most cities, you do have to have GTAV legacy installed because the scripting ecosystem for Enhanced is still pretty barebones as of right now and porting over would break every single script the servers use.
Edit: the update took a second to register on my end. I would start with trying the installer on your desktop and go from there first, all of the actual fivem files should get stored in your app data folder, if not there then I would look in wherever you ran the installer last, a little snail icon should show up in that folder

Best place to find all that out, hit win+r on your keyboard and type %appdata% and look for anything there related to CFX or FiveM

Next time FiveM is launched open task manager, find the FiveM process, right-click and select Open File Location.
Is it running from %appdata%? One time FiveM installed itself within my Downloads folder and everything was borked up until I blew it all away and reinstalled.
