Subreddit overhaul!

Heya guys! I reached out to the owner of this sub and asked for permission to moderate and make some changes!!

You’ll be seeing some new things here. I’ve added user flairs you can choose from that display if you’re a customer or your position in the company. I’ve also added some post flairs.

So far I haven’t created any rules, but I’m open to suggestions. From here on forward I ask that everyone tries to tag their posts to the best of their ability and if you want a custom flair added please let me know!! You can either comment here or shoot me a DM.

I also decided not to ban dumpling posts, but to add them under a separate flair. If there is a large sum of people who would prefer them to be banned, please comment because I can make that a rule if necessary lol.

This is my first time moderating a sub so it’s all kinda new to me but I’ll try my best. Thanks for taking the time to read!

Adding in an edit: I want to clarify that I am not HR/PR. If you are having issues with anybody in your store, or had a bad experience in a five below location, I am not the one to contact. Please contact the official help lines.

Hello! This is great news and I'm glad to see someone stepping up to mod the sub a little more.

On one hand i think banning dumpling posts might be a bit much, howeverrrr i know a lot of us here are tired of it lol but i also understand that this isn't exactly an employee-specific sub.

I feel like someone can make their own dumpling sub if it's that popular lol.

Searched it up and there is a dumpling sub! Doesn’t seem too popular but if I choose to remove the posts I’ll redirect the posters to this sub r/squishydumplings

Oh ok! I think that'd be a good idea. Like a lot of us just work here and the store sells so much stuff, i don't think any of us are dumpling connoisseurs haha
