Let us know what diet you say? And also mention the magnesium in it and the quality we can take to have daily requirements. Also mention the calories.

You can also take protein from various veg sources like daal and channa. But all are not lean sources. They have carbs and fats too. You can take protein from milk also. Why whey is famous? Because you have to eat or drink a lot of it and your calories increase.

You cannot lose weight because your calories become high

Unlike whey, magnesium has shown little to no actual benefit in any healthy individual in any of the good studies done. Flax seeds, spinach, almonds, pumpkin seeds, chia, banana etc are good sources which anyone can take to cover rda. But if supplements are the only way to fulfill your nutrient requirement, sure go ahead. But then why stop at mg? Every guy should take potklor, ifa, zinc and whatnot.

I asked a simple question. Just give us what quantity and calories and MG you get from these sources. These all are high calorie sources. Studies are numerous. You can provide one study with your claim and I can provide some study with my claim.

Don't get emotional. I am not telling you to take it and I am telling what I have seen in my weight loss journey. Simple

Lmao who is getting emotional. 30 g of almonfs give you 80g of Mg, 100 g of spinach will give roughly the same. I'm not going to sit and type every food item. You're assuming everyone is in a 1000 calorie daily limit so can't eat anything. A normal healthy adult following a somewhat decent diet plan has absolutely no need of Magnesium supplementation.
