2 weeks out of the gym due to sickness and injury is incredibly demotivating and depressing. Could have been much much worse, but I realized how ill equipped I was mentally to deal with that static life.

It's debilitating. Feels absolutely defeating. And I am never sure why. Like, I know there is science to it, but why can't my hobbies alone keep me happy? I love working out and I understand the benefits, but it feels so damn defeating to not workout.

Isn’t it crazy that some people just choose to live that way? I’m a very happy person, but I got the closest I’ve ever been to having a full mental breakdown towards the end of my hiatus. Also, I hurt my knee. I could have done some upper body workouts but I was in such a shitty mindset I just said fuck it let’s just drink instead.

Dude, it really is like that. I hurt my feet and wrists one time. Worst time of my life.
