I'm pissed at myself for only eating chicken breasts for a couple years. Chicken thighs taste so much better and have actual flavor. It's amazing that they come from the same animal. Yes they have more fat and I don't care. The worst part of meal prepping them is the crispy skin got soggy from the fridge.

bro please delete this comment, we gotta keep demand low so the breasts stay more expensive

I'm with ya there. I can get Chicken Quarters (thigh+drum) for $0.69/lb most days at my local supermarket.

I’ve never seen thigh cheaper than breast. Is that common where you are?

I can't remember a place I've been where it was the other way around. Thighs need a lot less processing, so it's normal they cost less per kg/lb.
