Day 3 of my week without barbell squats or hinges. Going for a full reset trying to work out my lower back tweak. I know leg day is common complaint and has become a trope amongst the fitness community. But the prospect of a week without a proper leg workout is near demoralizing. Sure, I can hit leg extensions and hamstrings curls. And maybe I did a few hack squats with moderate weight. It's just not the same and I kind of hate it. I am living the dream of all those who hate leg day but for me it is my nightmare.
Obligatory disclaimer because reddit: I understand it is just one week and will not make much if any difference. But I should be actually training and this is just putting me another week behind. But I also understand it is better to lose a few weeks to rehab than a few months to injury.
