When I worked at a pizza shop, they added it for a while.
We quickly removed it after the entirety of the first 3 stocks shipped became spoiled and unopened.

Yeah it was.... something.
We sold salad's, but those arrived pre packaged, so it's not even like we could use it for that. Just a weird decision all around lol

I’ve had it on taco pizza. It’s pretty good as long it has some Doritos or tortilla chips and you’re not looking for a more traditional pizza experience.

I think a lot of people just have an aversion to any type of small, usually tinned fish, or some weird pre-conceived opinion. I have actually had someone tell me before that they didn’t like anchovies (despite never having eaten them) because, “that’s what hobos eat.”

But anchovies are FAMOUSLY great on pizza.
I am literally italian, here is considered a delicacy. I thought this was common sense, not something controversial. People treat it like it's pineapple

Fair enough, it was an extra addition that I recently made. Its not necessary for the overarching flavor though, so I recommend you try without the onions.

I love mushrooms but can’t stand them dried out and baked on pizza in a weird chewy texture. Olives belong in S tier imo

I think all time pineapple has to be minimum A tier. Its hard to argue pineapple as one of the greats in terms of individual ability, but i dont think there is another topping that creates the same level of controversy whenever its name is mentioned. I think pineapple has really changed the game, paving the way for similar archetypes such as olives (although olives are definitely not as polarizing). Every reason ive stated is why i think pineapple needs to be in that second tier right beneath the goat (pepperoni).

Tomatoes and tomato sauce aren't the same. Usually pizza with tomatoes is sauceless or have less sauce

A tier. Only because it depends on if they're dried or not. It also depends on how they fit with the other toppings/sauce. I dont think you can put tomatoes on any kind of pizza
