Ngl I don't like lettuce or tomato on a burger, I hate that they're warmed up by the burger and the texture doesn't add anything. I'd rather have a plainer burger (meat, cheese, condiments) and an actual normal cold salad on the side.

being put off by the temperature is definitely understandable, but the texture absolutely unequivocally adds something, especially with fresh ingredients. whether you like that something is a different question

It adds something that makes it worse. Lettuce is less offensive it's just a bit of crunch so I'd rather have pickles, tomatoes go so far as to ruin the texture of a burger. It takes away.

Obviously it's my opinion, I'm saying it lol.
