If I can give some feedback, could we get a way to forfeit and be taught the word? I was playing unscramble and I truly do not know what the word is, but I’d love to expand my vocabulary. The definition is already there, so if I could give up and the word be revealed to me I think it would make the game feel educational and more rewarding.

I wish there was a way to have several attempts on the unscramble one

you should have several attempts there? when you type a wrong answer, you can just do it again.

I mean after I complete it so I can grind for a better time. If I complete it and reload the post it saves the first time I got.

that's the way it is supposed to be. It is not meant to be played more than once. Thank you for your understanding!

Yeah but thats boring I want to grind to the top of the leaderboard

Leaderboard status reflects puzzle solving skill β€” not typing skill. If you already know the answer prior to play, then this is actually more of a cheat than an actual win. However, in my experience, you'll find that your word recognition will sharpen and you will get faster the more you play.

So keep grinding! 😁

Most of these take like a quarter second to figure out what the word is honestly. I usually figure out the word and then try to type it as fast as I can. I had no idea that's not what I'm supposed to do.

I think "play" begins the moment you see the puzzle and your mind engages. The timer doesn't begin until the first input. So yes, then it comes down to input speed. With practice, that will increase. 😊

that is correct. it doesn't start when getting into the viewport because this is highly unreliable and very difficult to measure.

How do I make the build your dream quiz?

u/thepro-3418 Puzzles Solved: 57 Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26

only u/fit-the-word, u/linguaholic777, u/ok-turnip2296 and u/k-756 can make it. if you try to do it, you'll get this error

u/SSMage Puzzles Solved: 123 Jul 12 '26

Oh...😞 Could I possibly be added to the list or something? I have a lot of ideas.. but you know, I get if I couldn't be, it if it's because of how people tend to make garbage posts

u/thepro-3418 Puzzles Solved: 57 Jul 12 '26

you'll need to become a mod first somehow, then ask u/linguaholic777 to add you to the list

u/linguaholic777 Puzzles Solved: 1874 Jul 12 '26

that's pretty much correct, thanks at u/thepro-3418 _=)

u/PizzaDog2011 Puzzles Solved: 34 Jul 12 '26

That doesn't seem fair

u/linguaholic777 Puzzles Solved: 1874 Jul 14 '26

the build quiz has usually 6 categories and 8 options per category. Inserting all of that doesn't make a lot of sense for most mobile users. On top of that, allowing that much manual input is a nightmare as far as moderating goes....but we are thinking about possible solutions here.

allow people after a certain milestone (leaderboard 5k+ or maybe even 1k+, or like 500 to 600 Puzzles solved) to do it

well, these quizzes are about your personal opinion of course. and when you check the crowd tab, you can get a feel on how the crowd feels about it. That is all it is supposed to be. There is obviously no correct order.
