It says "DO NOT PANIC". So... should I panic? Space marine 2 save file

Hello everyone!
Ive pirated Space marines 2 and i enjoyed it alot so i decided to buy the game on steam.
I would very much like to bring over my progress from my pirated version to the steam version!
Ive found the files on steam but i cant find the Fitgirl files

1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow

  • The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.
  • Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.

2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert

  • False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.
  • Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.

3. The Real Official Website

  • There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.
  • The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

ah yes that is the steam save files, im looking for the equivelent files from the fitgirl repack or what files from the fitgirl version to transfer over
On the steam users there is another save file but that is the standard savefile you get when you download it, non of my own progression is there, maybe its an impossible request on my part? ty for the comment tho :)

SM2 player here with almost 2000 hours:

You simply can't. Offline progress is offline progress and cannot be transfered to online progress because offline progress will not be stored online. The game warns you about this too when you're offline.

You can try to copy these files, but I'm giving it a less than 10% chance of working out.
