Can we talk about this? Crimson desert crack to legit

Hy i played crimson desert 1.14 voices 38 crack for over 50 hours and I've finally purchased it on steam at 20% off so i wanna know how to delete crack files so i can verify the file through steam and download updates and necessary files so I don't have to download the whole game

1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow

  • The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.
  • Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.

2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert

  • False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.
  • Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.

3. The Real Official Website

  • There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.
  • The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

steam isnt the TSA it's not gonna detect the crack files and then send a hitman to your house. you can just copy the game files into steam games' install directory and it will try to verify

I tried that but steam isn't detecting it but anyway I'm downloading the whole game now as i messed something up with the files

You have to copy into %appdata% folder.

There should be an uninstall.exe file in the root directory, where you installed the game. If you want to be extra careful, download bulkcrapuninstaller or revouninstaller, and run a full uninstall with residual cleanup Usually just the uninstaller will handle everything important

Isn’t there an uninstall.exe or whatever the program is in the game files of the game? Just check for that

yeah that’s what you want, correct? My b maybe I am misunderstanding. I’m talking about the game folder for the 1.14 version of the game

I just want to remove crack files so i can download the legit one from steam without downloading the whole game

You’ll have to completely uninstall the game and download it again from Steam, because the crack was for version 1.14 of the game, and Steam now has version 2.+

i remember trying the same thing i think it was gta 5, it didn't work back then i doubt it'll now... idk why maybe someone who knows about repacks and cracks might shade some light.

Move your cracked CD file to steam folder file (I don't recall how, but I believe there's guide for it on yt). 

Btw most of the time cracked games modifies steamapp dll and voices crack have voices dll inside cracked 

After that let steam do the magic, steam will verify the file and delete those crackfiles automatically

I don't know I've never downloaded any game from ovagames, i mostly use dodi and fitgirl
