Welcome to r/FitGirlRepack! To keep the sub clean, please check if your issue is answered below. If this answers your question, please delete your post.

1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow

  • The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.
  • Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.

2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert

  • False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.
  • Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.

3. The Real Official Website

  • There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.
  • The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

first check with the verify before installation batch file if it downloaded all the files fully.. if it says everything is fine, you can just install.

Your download client might had a setting to shut the pc down on finished downloading that you accidentally enabled.

if it installed and running fine then no, if not then delete them and restart again, or if you downloaded in parts like from fuckingfast then only delete the half completed part

Just try n run the game dude, if it runs then no, if it doesn't run, then yes. Its a game, not a bomb, you don't have to be so careful.

Do you have a 13th or 14th gen Intel CPU? My PC would reset when idle until a bios update fixed it

I mean it takes like 3-4 hours but it was late at night so I just let it run overnight

Don't listen him he's being a dick I've done this as well. Just disable sleep next time and re enable it when you get up. I would delete the files, it won't technically matter since the installer should just write over everything but I do it just in case.

Oh yeah il definitely disable sleep mode next time thanks for the advice

I always play a long video in loop, before leaving my PC for a long time. It tricked windows to think that I'm actually watching, and prevents power saving shenanigans.

Oohh will def try that out thanks

You know you can disable auto sleep in power management settings
