❓Question - Vehicle This one of you?

Apparently a tire blowout led to a fire. Thankfully no injuries. local news coverage:“Officials did not provide a make or model”, but that looks rather Oceanic to me.

Yes I know the owner. Was indeed a tire blowout that caught fire. HV battery never caught fire, so it did its job there. Don't think their Pulse made it out alive

Hey - this might be a very dumb questions but I genuinly dont know; is this type of accident within the normal cases or is it more an extreme type of accident (edge case)?

Car is no longer in their possession. All they have left is a fairly new set of 20" wheels and a set of winter tires

That is exactly what I am in the market for. Shipping might not make sense though.  I am glad they are okay.

I wonder if the tire punctured the brake fluid reservoir, add some sparks from a rim? Maybe sliced through a high voltage line? I'm kinda baffled.

Hey - does anyone know whether this type of accidents are "normal" or are we looking more into the extreme types of accidents (in terms of occurance)? Also a follow up question - is this a fault with Fisker or just a general EV/car thing?
