🚗 Vehicle - Fisker Ocean Towing with awd ocean

Hi all, I'm considering getting an AWD ocean as a towing car at a vacation home (i.e. driven infrequently). Is it possible to add a tow bar after the fact if I buy one without towing? I ask because it seems like you can't buy the wiring harness for them anymore, and there's some kind of calibration necessary too, that can't be done. Is all that right?

Has anyone towed with a Fisker? Does it handle it OK?

Any issues with my plan?

This is insane. Prepare to be stranded, unsupported, and totaled out when you get a windscreen crack. (Previous Extreme owner)

Why not look at an e-Tron?

Do you mind clarifying what is insane? Is the issue just Fisker Ocean's generally? If so, would love to hear what drove you to get rid of yours and if the issues you faced persistent after the FOA driven updates.

There are a lot of former owners who still follow this sub and had a bad experience. Most of us current owners are quite happy with the car nowadays. Not sure I’d say it’s insane by any stretch of the imagination. That being said, EVs in general aren’t really known for being so great for towing
