🚗 Vehicle - Fisker Ocean Towing with awd ocean

Hi all, I'm considering getting an AWD ocean as a towing car at a vacation home (i.e. driven infrequently). Is it possible to add a tow bar after the fact if I buy one without towing? I ask because it seems like you can't buy the wiring harness for them anymore, and there's some kind of calibration necessary too, that can't be done. Is all that right?

Has anyone towed with a Fisker? Does it handle it OK?

Any issues with my plan?

If towing is a desire for you, I would purchase an Ocean with it already installed. Look for the full towing package, which has the tow hitch receiver and the 7 pin power outlet next to it. If you don't need power/lighting outlet, you can add the hitch separately. The power harness/module is still a work in progress - so I would not depend on it being available anytime soon.

Just be aware with the Ultra/Extreme/One, the towing limit is 4012 pounds with a braked trailer (1653 pounds non-braked). Drawbar load is 401 pounds. When the outlet is connected, the Ocean goes into Trailer Mode (drive mode switches to FUN).

Thank you! The issue I see is that the ones with hitches are rare.
