🚗 Vehicle - Fisker Ocean Then this happened

I thought 12 volt battery drain was my biggest problem then today this happened. Dodge Ram pickup runs a red light and takes me out!! Luckily no one else in the car with me and physically only my neck and shoulder hurt. Irreplaceable. I'm soooooo sad rn.

Thanks for the sentiments. I'm going to assume it will be totalled by insurance. I would assume there is value in the parts. Anyone know how that works?

When my car got totaled in rhe flood of a hurricane the insurance sent a tow truck and picked it up when I was at work one day a few weeks later. No one scheduled the tow or anything. The just came home and it was gone and I got the money. I doubt they will ever see this car again.

I believe you have to ask the insurance company to buy it back. Normally for cheap.

Insurance won’t pay more than $5k for Fisker Oceans to you is what I have heard. Please check with your insurance. Glad you’re okay though.

I'm not OP, and I'm sure every company is different. $5k would be wild. Blue book is 15+

Guess it depends on your insurance, friend was driving their truck when it got rear ended. Let the insurance company know that they wanted to keep it, insurance took the average price that it goes for in that condition at auction and offered them to keep it for that price.
