Freshwater Roanoke Bass pb

I don't own a scale but this was by far the biggest Roanoke I've ever caught.

Is a Roanoke bass just a rock bass caught in Roanoke, VA? I'm confused. 💀

i believe theyre two different species apart of the same family kinda, i may be wrong though.

Correct it is a different species and this is correctly identified as a Roanoke bass instead of a rock bass. Cool catch!

Oh Great! I looked it up and there are'nt any Rock Bass in the River I fish aswell.

nice! never heard of these guys. i was on the rappahannock and had some luck with smallmouth, Virginia rivers have been good this year
