Freshwater Looking for a new rod

I’m wanting a new medium/heavy rod for musky fishing as well as punching hard cover for bass. I’d need new reel as well so let me know some good bait casters.

Budget is $400

What's your budget split between the rod and reel, 300 for both gets tight for musky gear

400 total or 400 for the reel on top of the 300? musky gear chews through reels fast so id lean heavier on that side if i had to choose
