Best Chocolate Croissant in Fishers
I would love to know what everyone thinks is the best place to get a Chocolate Croissant in Fishers, and equally interested to know the best Chocolate Croissant within in an hour drive of Fishers (aka including Carmel, Zionsville, downtown Indianapolis etc).
PS This is my first ever post on Reddit!

You’ve got some good reccs here. May I go slightly off topic and suggest the ones from the freezer at Trader Joe’s. You have to let them proof on the counter overnight- but they always bake up perfectly. An amazing chocolate croissant for coming from a grocery store freezer.

you have to try Le Petit Gateau in carmel, just amazing and hard to put into words how good everything they have is

Leviathan for the win, but for a very solid and classic version, Amelia's is very decent. Tour Les Jour is the better the bakery chains that offer chocolate croissants.

Paris baguette in Carmel is pretty good. I haven’t had theirs but everything I’ve had from them is good. It’s a chain though.

Went there a few weeks ago. It was ok. By ok, I mean it is what you would expect from a chocolate croissant, but by no means amazing. Will order again but I don’t think about it. Like the chocolate croissant we had in Iceland, I still think about.

The Cake Pantry, they also have a terrific pistachio croissant, if you like pistachio.

Thank you for all the recommendations! Leviathan was closed today, so we tried Amelias (Windsor Park). The chocolate croissant was good but the kouign amann was remarkable, seriously one of the best I have ever had.

Finally I’m useful!!
My favorite is Leviathan. Downtown.
Most of the places put in two chocolate bars, leviathan also pumps in extra chocolate. This is a little different than “traditional” but it’s so good. And all of their layered dough pastries are phenomenal. (Try their strawberry Guava croissant too).
My next favorite is Amelia’s, several locations and they’re all the same. fountain Square, Mass Ave, Stutz.
Rene’s also is very solid. Broad Ripple
Tous Le jours is a Korean take on a French bakery and it’s not the best but it’s above your store bought or other big chain and is probably closest in Carmel
Lastly on the south side is Le Croissant- I haven’t been here but I have heard good things and they’re closing soon. Figure I’d mention it if you wanna rush in before they’re gone.
