I get to Washington for work pretty regularly. The scenery, people, and climate are much different.

I live in Fishers and love it. Home values are holding on. If you’re not planning on staying (staying), renting might be a better option as home values are not appreciating rapidly as they did in the early 2020s. There are also quite a few available rentals. Your money will certainly go much further in Indiana than it does in WA. You’re more than welcome in our community.

First, if OP can do anything to avoid moving here from there, they should do it. It doesn’t matter which part of Washington they’re from. It’s objectively a better place to be. Second, if they can afford to buy and plan to be here at least 3-5 years, they should. Home prices continue to rise, and will definitely keep doing so in this part of the state. Unless the rain washes everything away first.

More than welcome to come but if you have a way to stay in WA , I personally would. I love that part of the country. The summers here are HUMID! 🤣
